Happy Birthday, Nattsumii.

One of the prettiest girls in the whole 48group, coupled with a strong stand to stay true to what she believes in and of course, unbeatable talent, she was unfortunately under-appreciated by fans and management. It didn’t stop her from forging through the competition around her and pursuing her dreams further, didn’t stop her from doing her best in everything that was assigned to her, didn’t stop her from showing her true self to those who appreciated her.

It would be a lie if meeting her didn’t leave an amazing memory for me every single time. From the first interaction till the last, it will always be a precious memory for me. There are just so much I want to let her know; that she’s the best dancer in AKB48, the sweetest girl I’ve ever met, the most appreciative member I’ve ever known, and the first member that made me cry from all that she had done in return for me. 

The road after AKB48, as a solo artiste, as an actress, will not be easy. But heck, nothing could be as hard as trying to stand out amongst younger, prettier girls pushed by management, and not giving up even though all the efforts she had put in aren’t showing results. Nothing could stop this one girl called Matsubara Natsumi. 

The road ahead of you might be bumpy, but being Nattsumii, I know you’ll make it through. Happy Birthday, my angel.

Received this from Sumo yesterday and I almost died seeing how big the package was, then died for reals when I saw what’s in it. I’ve to be veeeeery honest that Nattsumii’s portrait is my favourite out of all that he had shown online before, and I reaaaally love this gift from him. ;A;)/ I’ll be gifting one to Nattsumii after she officially graduates from the group because I think she’s going to like it and I told her about it already. That said, I love the Mariko and Minami one and it’s soooo pretty to just stare at! And of course, the S.Crawl Minami photo! ;A;)/ I completed the S.Crawl Takamina set — 2 regulars & election photo — with this! ‘A’)/

Ah… so this is Natsumi’s last HS event eh? Hmmm… I will miss u natsumi.. TAT

This is NOT Nattsumii’s last HS event. Her last is 7/7, same as Mariko, Sayaka, Tomochin. It was announced in May though. (:

I wanted to take photos of the photos I got in Japan, be it trading or bought. But I realized there’s just too many. Takamina stack is over 70 photos already. Hahaa

Handshake 1st & 2nd session, 1/6/13

I have only Takamina and Nattsumii’s handshake tickets for these two sessions.

Takamina 1st:

I’ve two figurines — Jane Doe & no3b’s latest single — hanging on my lanyard to show Takamina. My words to her are written and hanging on the lanyard too because i don’t speak Japanese and too busy to memorize.

Me: Takamina~~~I’m from Singapore
Takamina: Oh! マジカ！！？(Really!!?)
Me: /shows figurine and note about giving them to her/
Takamina: /sees note/ ありがとう！/sees figurines/ EEEHHHHHH!!!!/touches figurines/ すごいい すごいい すごいい すごいい ！！！！！ /bounces/ かわいい！かわいい！

Nattsumii 1st:

Me: /shows note thanking her for the ‘thank you’ during Anta Dare this week/
Nattsumii: Ah~~~ /nods/ yes~
Me: I’ve many tickets tomorrow. See you later
Nattsumii: Byebye~

Takamina 2nd:

I still have the figurines hanging on the lanyard.

Me: /walks in and Takamina’s eyes seemed to sparkle seeing the figurines again. Shows note telling her I love Jane Doe/
Takamina: Jane Doe? Did you have fun listening it??
Me: Yes~ /note that asks about next single/
Takamina: /whiney voice/ I don’t know~ I want (next single)~ please wait for it.
Me: see you tomorrow (actually I have a ticket for later. I forgot)

Nattsumii 2nd:

Two tickets were used in the conversation below and one in the next one.

Me: /note that tells her I’ve many tickets for handshake tomorrow so please speak English to me/
Nattsumii: Eng-English…I prac-PRACTISE!!!!
Me: can u speak English?
Nattsumii: Me!? No!
(And both of us LOL-ed)

Second time:
Me: /shows note that says thank you for remembering me/
Nattsumii: 思い…思い..Re-remember!!! Yes I remember!!!
Me: see you tomorrow!
Nattsumii: Tomorrow! Bye bye. Thank you. See you.

I’ve one more Takamina and five Haruu later before calling it a day. Takamina was hella adorable I don’t even have words for it. She was wearing a black hat ^~^ Saw Yuko and she’s gorgeous ;-; Rie walked in front of me cus she came late and she turned to smile at me n I almost died. ;-; Nyannyan came late for both slots so I can’t see her. ;^; Takamina is always early or earliest to start her sessions. Sasuga souchan. Cutie pie ;-;

Managed to get into Anta Dare today. Guests are: Nattsumii, Komorin, Ranran and Shiichan. 

Was called really late (45th out of 50 fans) but thankful that I got in. Jeffyer and another friend got in too! When all the fans were chosen, the rest usually disperse but the cafe staff stopped everyone from leaving and said there was a surprise. And from the take-out counter, Komorin and Nattsumii came to greet the fans. 

It was Nattsumii and Komorin’s last Anta Dare and they gave thanks to the fans who came for the ballot but didn’t get in, and also for all the fans who had been supporting them and the show so far. Komorin had a loudhailer but Nattsumii had to shout. 

Couldn’t really understand the show but still laughed along at parts that I did understand. They brought back Nattsumii’s “Sister” (Nun) cosplay corner as a request. And as usual, Komorin did her “see into the future” prediction thingy. It was insanely amusing and you could see the girls had fun.

Near the ending, the MCs gave a letter to both Komorin and Nattsumii. The MC lady on Shiichan side in the photo wrote a letter to Nattsumii and the MC behind Komorin in the photo wrote one to Komorin. The last question before the letter was asking if they want to hear the letters for the graduating members and Komorin almost went the wrong side (towards the don’t want to hear side).

Both Nattsumii and Komorin cried so badly when letters were read to them. Komorin’s elder brother (damnnnnn ikemen!!!) and mummy were at the recording. Komorin then gave thanks to the program and the fans and she choked so many times and fans were shouting ganbatte to her. Nattsumii then gave her thanks to the fans and the program and she was crying but burst into laughter when she saw Shiichan crying even harder behind her. 

After the program was done, the girls took the group photo with the fans at the recording and both Nattsumii and Komorin said thank you to the fans there again. 

As they were exiting the stage, Nattsumii and Komorin were saying arigato so many times to the fans. And then Nattsumii looked at me and waved, and suddenly she said “Thank you” in English and smile. ;A;)/ 

And then I burst into tears. LOLOLOL ;A;)/// She looked a few times over at my side but even with eye contact, I’m all like, maybe she didn’t see me. And I wanted to ask her in handshake session this Saturday. But that “Thank you”…(; A;)/ 

I’ll tell you on Saturday that it is more thank YOU than anything else. ;A;)/
