//angst//
Every time she looked at the slightly taller girl, her heart felt a slight tug. Forgetting was never her forte; she remembered every single detail, every single exchange they had before the other girl came into the picture. But even so, she pretended that she had moved on so that the one she liked, no, the one she likes, could move on without guilt for she long knew her heart was no longer hers. She saw how her eyes blinked and seemed to focus on the taller girl, how her eyes sparkled every time the other girl talked to her or just stepped into the same room as them, how her body seemed to have this slight dance whenever their skin came into contact, and ultimately, how much happier she was with the new girl than with her.
And so Takamina chose to do what she does best; masking her true feelings as she watched the two Tomomis smiled lovingly at each other before slipping to the back of the room to share an intimate moment in the midst of the chaos and busyness of the rehearsal.
Think about it - it’s amazing, just how much pain a human heart could hold.
